Kelley Rifliato

5 seasons with the Skyhawks in 2017 after being named the Fort Lewis College head volleyball coach in June 2013.

She has coached six All-RMAC and 26 Academic All-RMAC performers while taking the 2013 team to the RMAC tournament.

At BHS, Rifilato led the Wolverines to the post season all six seasons, including the 3A state tournament from 2009-2012.  In 2009 and 2011, BHS finished third overall in the state, seventh in 2010 and fifth in 2012.

A five-time Intermountain League Coach of the Year, Rifilato posted at least 20 wins every year at BHS.  She recorded her 100th win for the program during the 2011 season.

In her six years at BHS, Rifilato posted a 135-29 overall record, and a 49-1 Intermountain League record.  She coached both of her daughters, Gabriella and Katherine, at BHS.  In 2011, Katherine was named a Top 10 nominee for the Colorado ESPN Gatorade Player of the Year. Both daughters have continued their volleyball careers in the collegiate ranks.

In addition to coaching at the high school level, she has coached club volleyball teams from across the country, also with impressive results. The Four Corners Volleyball Club twice won the Western Slope Tournament U18 Championship, as well as the Phoenix Fiesta National Tournament U18 Championship with her as head coach. One of her club teams even qualified to play in the USAV Junior Olympic National Tournament in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Riliato's successful coaching career has been followed by a successful collegiate playing career.  A two-time Big Sky all-conference performer at the University of Idaho, Rifilato played for the Vandals from 1982-85, where she was a four-year starter and three-time team captain. She led the Vandals each year in service aces and holds the career record with 220.  She also ranks second in the record book with 4,744 assists.  In 1997, Rifilato was inducted in the University of Idaho All-Time Great Hall of Fame.  She completed her Family & Consumer Sciences degree from Idaho in 2011, graduating cum laude.
